Quality Audits

Quality Audits take place during any phase of the project. It can be conducted by the in-house auditors or external auditors. The aim of the Quality audits is to ensure that the cost of quality is reduced thereby enabling the acceptance of the project or product. It also aims to remove inefficient policies, procedures and processes that are used in the project. For example, some processes need not be followed for maintenance project. Instead of wasting time working on those unnecessary areas, care should be taken to follow whatever is required.

The exit criteria of Quality Audits are confirmation of
  • implemented change requests
